What an Eastern Suburbs Move Costs
We charge an Eastern Suburbs local move for the moving time at the rate shown online. For our 4.5 tonne truck, the starting point is $65 plus GST per half hour. Furniture volume sets the scale, but lift waits, terrace stairs, dismantling and the walk from the property to our vehicle determine how long the hands-on work takes. Our pricing page shows the rate for each truck.
This page covers the district from the Bondi side of the belt through to Randwick, rather than one suburb. Apartments and terraces bring different access questions. Tell us whether we can use a lift, how many levels we will carry across and where a truck can legally stand. Parking availability can vary from one address to the next, so we plan each end on its own details.
One District With Different Entrances
An apartment move may depend on a shared lift and a designated loading point. A terrace can trade the lift for narrow internal stairs and a front door set close to public space. Walk us through both addresses instead of describing the move only as “Eastern Suburbs”. We need the route from rooms to truck, including every level and any furniture that must come apart.
Pick the Truck by Cubic Metres
We can bring a 4.5 tonne truck with 20–25 m³ for a compact load. Our middle vehicle is the 10 tonne truck, which gives us 30–40 m³. For a much fuller home, the 12 tonne truck holds 50–60 m³. We check the furniture list against those three spaces, then make sure the vehicle choice works at both Eastern Suburbs addresses. An accurate list saves us from treating every apartment or terrace as if it holds the same amount.
Packing and Storage Around the Move
